Pediatric Critical Care Nurse Practitioner Opportunity

Omaha Children's Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Critical Care Nurse Practitioner to join our team. As a member of our transport team, you will be responsible for managing the care and transport of critically ill children from referring facilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
  • Manage the care and transport of critically ill children
  • Collaborate with physicians and referral teams to provide high-quality patient care
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in pediatric critical care and transport medicine
Requirements:
  • APRN licensure in the State of Nebraska
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in critical care
  • Previous experience as a Critical Care APRN or combination of both
  • Knowledge of pediatric pathophysiology, assessment skills, emergency and critical care medical decision making, lab and radiology results interpretation, and procedural skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
