Job Title: Pediatric Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Omaha Children's Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care, education, and support to our pediatric patients and their families.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct holistic patient assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and provide evidence-based nursing care to pediatric patients.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Provide education and support to patients and families on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Nebraska or compact state licensure.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Pediatric Emergency Assessment Recognition & Stabilization (PEARS) certification within 180 days of hire.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
