City National Bank is seeking a highly skilled Senior Relationship Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Deposits team, you will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with our clients, identifying business opportunities, and delivering exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their business needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive growth and revenue.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver comprehensive client solutions and ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Monitor and analyze client relationships and deposit account activities to determine client profitability and make recommendations for further development or elimination.
  • Negotiate transactions and prices Specialty Banking depository products and services to capitalize on cross-selling opportunities while ensuring profitability standards are maintained.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in relationship management of Deposits-based clients/portfolio in a financial services company.
  • Minimum 4 years of product sales and new business development in a financial services company.
  • Consultative selling expertise for common Commercial Banking products and services.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously or in teams as situationally required.
  • Must be available to respond to client service requests at all times.

  • Competitive starting base salary: $101,231 - $172,355 per year.
