Job Title: Senior Relationship Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Relationship Manager to join our Global Commercial Banking team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of Non-Bank Financial Institution clients and delivering the full suite of Bank of America products and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage an extensive portfolio of NBFI clients and prospects
  • Deliver the full suite of BofA products and services
  • Acquire, deepen, and maintain profitable client relationships through sales, prospecting, and enhancing existing relationships
  • Understand and interpret financial statements to assess and analyze financial conditions of companies and industry trends
  • Collaborate with domestic and international teammates throughout the bank, including Investment Banking, Foreign Exchange, and Wealth Management
  • Facilitate client relationships with Product Specialists in Credit, Treasury Management, and Merchant Services
  • Lead and facilitate dialogue with complex clients and prospects regarding industry trends, alternative capital structures, and general business issues
  • Coach and mentor peers, utilizing leadership skills
  • Adapt to changes in sales practices and broader market and industry conditions
Requirements:
  • 8+ years' experience in Commercial or Transaction Banking
  • Demonstrates ability to successfully manage an extensive portfolio of NBFI clients
  • Proven track record of prospecting new business, enhancing existing relationships, and closing profitable transactions
  • Professional proven sales skills and experience, including planning, execution, and follow-up of client meetings
  • Strong corporate finance, capital markets, and accounting acumen
  • Financial modeling experience and completion of a formal credit training preferred
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated leadership ability
  • Capable of organizing, facilitating, leading, and negotiating with a team of bank associates to solve client problems
  • Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7 & 63 (Must obtain SIE, Series 7 & 63 license within 180 days of start date)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Undergraduate degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
  • MBA desirable
  • Existing knowledge of the market preferred
  • Active member/participation in local community organizations
  • Highly desirable to have active networking contacts and Centers of Influence established in the market
