Position Overview:
The Front Desk Ambassador plays a crucial role in ensuring guest satisfaction by providing professional and courteous service. This position involves managing guest check-ins and check-outs, addressing inquiries, and facilitating a welcoming atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome guests and execute check-in procedures efficiently, ensuring a smooth transition to their accommodations.
  • Assist with guest departures by following established protocols to finalize accounts and prepare rooms for new arrivals.
  • Handle financial transactions accurately, including posting charges and processing payments, while maintaining precise records.
  • Respond to guest inquiries and reservations, utilizing effective communication to promote hotel services and enhance occupancy.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hotel amenities and local attractions to provide informed responses to guest questions.
  • Operate the hotel’s communication systems to manage incoming and outgoing calls, ensuring timely assistance for guests.
  • Safeguard cash transactions at the front desk, adhering to hotel policies regarding financial accountability.
  • Exhibit a friendly and approachable demeanor, contributing to a positive guest experience.

Qualifications:

Education:
High School diploma or equivalent required.

Experience:
No prior experience necessary, but customer service experience is preferred.

Skills:

  • Strong mathematical skills and familiarity with cash handling procedures.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to manage customer service challenges effectively.
  • Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
  • Ability to multitask and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements:
Must be able to stand for extended periods, operate office equipment, and perform tasks that require bending and lifting.
