Job Description

About the Role

iCIMS Organic ZipApply is seeking an innovative and creative IT Project Management Operations Intern who is ready to apply their knowledge of IT Project Management principles to an authentic real-world experience and achieve amazing results by working on projects that may directly impact the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in maintaining the IT Portfolio & Delivery Center of Excellence standards relating to Project and Portfolio Governance.
  • Ensure compliance with our methodologies, processes, and procedures during project delivery and post-project delivery evaluations.
  • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual project compliance attestations.
  • Assist with weekly portfolio health reviews meetings.
  • Ensure that project and program execution deliverables are produced and stored in our projects repository SharePoint and are in sync with the Project Governance Process.
  • Assist with the reporting of key portfolio compliance analytics and metrics.
  • Prepare monthly compliance reports and take proactive steps to communicate any compliance issues contained in the reports and to suggest resolutions of such issues.
  • Assist with compliance reviews of our Phase-End Gate Review process.
  • Participate in Portfolio Review Committee meetings and draft meeting minutes.

Requirements

  • College senior or two year post college graduate highly preferred.
  • Ability to work well in teams.
  • Strong verbal and written communication.
  • Display a positive attitude.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality/discretion.
  • Ability to demonstrate constant professionalism, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.
