About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled ITS Operations Project Manager to join our team at HNTB. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for managing assigned projects throughout their full lifecycle, from development to delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop project scope and fee quotations, and assist in the preparation of technical proposals and contracts.
  • Serve as the primary client liaison and manage project teams to deliver scope, schedule, and budgets to completion.
  • Perform technical discipline tasks, including analysis, reports, design, specification, and production for assigned projects.
  • Implement the firm's project delivery plan using HNTB's Sophisticated Delivery Approach (SDA) on each project.
  • Lead the development and execution of project management plans, and supervise and mentor teams to achieve overall project objectives.
  • Coordinate with managers on project staffing, including recruitment, development, retention, and succession of project staff.
  • Partner with Client Service Leaders and pursuit champions to assist with business development, building client relationships, and pursuit efforts for strategic and mini-mega projects.
Requirements
  • 2 years of task management or Deputy PM experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) certification.
  • Established relationships in South Florida's transportation market.
  • Ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand market presence.
