Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement effective advocacy strategies to advance the Association's public policy agenda.
- Build and maintain relationships with state government officials, their staff, and other key stakeholders.
- Provide policy research, analysis, and recommendations to support the Association's advocacy efforts.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement grassroots and media advocacy campaigns.
- Prepare and present testimony, briefs, and other materials to support the Association's advocacy positions.
- Bachelor's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, Law, or related field.
- Three years of experience in legislative and regulatory lobbying, with a focus on state government relations.
- Proven track record of building and managing issue advocacy coalitions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling policy briefs and testimony.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
