The State of Montana is seeking a skilled Grants Contracts Coordinator to join its team within the Behavioral Health & Developmental Disabilities Division, Operations Bureau.

This position is responsible for ensuring the Division and its contracted providers are in compliance with contract requirements.

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of government accounting, procurement, and contracting principles, as well as considerable knowledge of AWACS and state procurement, risk management, and contracting laws and procedures.

The Grants Contracts Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing all Division contracting, supervising the development of Requests for Proposals, drafting and negotiating contracts with program staff, and serving as a contact with contracted providers to monitor contract compliance.

The successful candidate will have the ability to communicate professionally both orally and in writing, and to maintain effective working relationships with employees, contractors, other agencies, and the public.
