Genesis10 is in search of a UAT and Business Process Testing Specialist for a contract role.

Remote Job Overview:

We are looking for a UAT tester to join our User Acceptance Testing Team. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that our products undergo rigorous testing and are delivered with the utmost quality standards in a timely manner.

This prominent position allows you to contribute to the development and establishment of our policies, standards, and procedures for the UAT Team.

We require immediate user acceptance testing for system modifications. A profound understanding of RxCLAIM (eligibility, benefits, claims, etc.) and UAT experience is essential as we do not have the capacity for extensive training.


Key Responsibilities:

- Engage in User Acceptance Testing for various applications across different platforms.
- Analyze and break down business requirements to derive test requirements.
- Develop, implement, and execute effective test plans and test cases.
- Test system requirements, enhancements, and fixes.
- Analyze data, research, and troubleshoot issues to identify root causes and provide solutions.
- Log and track defects until resolution.
- Monitor, measure, and communicate test results.
- Ensure that new system requirements, enhancements, and changes are thoroughly tested and delivered on time.
- Create and prepare UAT documentation, communication, and process workflows.
- Provide a consistent and repeatable testing process for UAT; collaborate with business analysts to execute test scenarios.

Work closely with the Project Team to identify risks early, enhance processes, and minimize post-implementation issues. Additional tasks may include supporting other project testing as required, generating reports, and extracting data from the RxCLAIM system for audits on pharmacy claims data, as well as recommending improvements to the development team and utilizing query language to create reports from various relational databases.


Typical Day:

Review business requirements and develop test scenarios based on system enhancements and requirements. Provide a consistent testing process, write test plans and scripts, execute test scenarios, log and track defects, and collaborate with business analysts to investigate and resolve issues. Analyze and query data from RXCLAIM AS400 and/or upload it into databases.


Required Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or 2+ years of relevant experience.
- 2+ years of User Acceptance Testing experience for enterprise-level applications, including writing test cases from business requirements and executing/validating test results.
- Strong understanding and knowledge of IBM AS400 / RxCLAIM.
- 2+ years of experience in business process and data analysis.
- Intermediate proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience in developing process documentation and process improvement workflows.
- Ability to articulate business and system functionality requirements and/or process flows related to test cases and results.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work during peak periods.
Preferred Qualifications:

- Familiarity with MODs testing.
- Experience in healthcare insurance or claims.
- Intermediate proficiency in MS Access.
- Strong understanding of Claims Administration workflows and processes.
- Excellent interpersonal skills at both individual and team levels.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Self-driven yet team-oriented.

Compensation: Hourly W2 pay rate ranges from $45.00 to $55.00. We also have access to additional contract, contract-to-hire, and direct hire positions with various rate ranges.
