Radiation Therapy Department Supervisor

As a Radiation Therapy Department Supervisor at Maine Medical Center, you will oversee a growing department with nine providers. This busy Scarborough location requires two senior/supervisor staff members to manage 3 machines, therapist staff, and administrative staff. You will also function as a working supervisor.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and direct the work of others, providing instruction and constructive feedback.
- Ensure the quality of procedures performed in Radiation Therapy.
- Create a safe and caring environment for patients and their families.
- Maintain confidentiality in the performance of duties.
Requirements
- Completion of a 2-year accredited program in Radiation Therapy and registration through A.R.R.T. or Licensure by the State of Maine.
- Prior supervisory experience preferred.
- Comprehensive knowledge of physics, anatomy, and physiology, techniques, procedures, and equipment involved with radiation therapy.
- Ability to analyze work flow and make suggestions for improvements.
