Job Summary

New England Life Care is seeking a skilled Clinical Liaison Nurse to join our team in the Central Maine/Lewiston area. This role will work closely with hospital staff to coordinate home infusion therapy services, ensuring seamless transitions for patients. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and assessment skills, with a strong background in intravenous therapy and homecare.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough clinical assessments of patients referred for home infusion therapy, determining their suitability for services.
  • Develop and implement strategies to capture referrals from member hospitals, fostering strong relationships with hospital staff.
  • Act as a liaison between NELC and hospital departments, ensuring effective communication and coordination of care.

Requirements:

  • Associate degree or diploma in Nursing
  • Two years of intravenous therapy experience in hospital or homecare
  • Excellent patient assessment skills and RN license in good standing
  • Valid driver's license and excellent driving record

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BS in Nursing
  • Current BLS Certification
  • Knowledge of HIPAA Privacy and Security Regulations
  • Knowledge of JCAHO accreditation process and overall JCAHO standards
