POSITION OVERVIEW
The Lead Systems Architect at Anduril Industries will oversee the Tactical Intelligence Targeting Access Node (TITAN) initiative.

This program represents a scalable and deployable intelligence ground station designed to enhance the Army's capacity to access and analyze substantial amounts of Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) data, improving operational precision and accuracy.

We are seeking a hardware-centric architect with a background in Command and Control (C2) platforms or ruggedized thermal, power, and mechanical systems.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to establish architectural frameworks and devise creative solutions that effectively address customer needs.


Utilize Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) practices to accurately define interfaces among various system components within the architecture, ensuring smooth integration and efficient development workflows.

Develop thorough system architectures that incorporate all essential components and subsystems, ensuring a comprehensive and cohesive approach.

Identify key capabilities and performance specifications of the hardware system, ensuring alignment with client requirements and industry benchmarks.

Break down system functionalities into modular components, facilitating streamlined design and development processes.


Conduct in-depth evaluations and provide informed recommendations regarding potential external technology collaborations or vendors, leveraging their expertise to accelerate hardware development.

Implement detailed technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk assessments, as well as supportability and effectiveness analyses.


Carry out functional analysis, timeline analysis, detailed trade studies, requirements allocation, and interface definition studies to assist in translating client specifications into hardware and software requirements.


Oversee the testing and validation of hardware designs, ensuring quality, reliability, and adherence to industry regulations and standards.


ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
Must hold a Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering discipline AND possess 5 years of relevant professional or military experience in MBSE or Systems Engineering OR a Master's degree with 3 years of relevant professional or military experience.

Prior experience with C4ISR platforms, integrating ruggedized thermal, power, and mechanical systems.

Ability to manage customer and internal/external stakeholder expectations while prioritizing key program initiatives (schedule, cost, quality, etc.).

Familiarity with Cameo Enterprise Architecture / Teamcenter, strong understanding of various architectural frameworks (DoDAF, etc.), knowledge of interface control documents (ICDs).

Experience in hardware verification, testing, and validation methodologies.

Experience in automotive or heavy-vehicle equipment.

Active DoD Top Secret Clearance with the capability to obtain SCI access, with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled in Continuous Evaluation.
