Position Overview
The Air Dominance and Strike (AD&S) team is on the lookout for a Mission Systems Engineering Lead to contribute to our innovative projects.

Role Responsibilities
In this role, you will:

  • Drive mission outcomes within Anduril programs by selecting, sourcing, and validating mission-critical payloads and systems.
  • Conduct assessments for communication, sensing, and effector systems to ensure successful mission delivery.
  • Architect multi-functional, multi-mode payload and system solutions, including requirements, layouts, interfaces, and operational employment.
  • Adapt or create physics-based models to evaluate payload system performance in collaboration with subject matter experts.
  • Validate system performance in partnership with test and integration engineers.
  • Oversee subcontractors and internal teams to define subsystem requirements and ensure technical performance aligns with project timelines.
  • Communicate findings effectively across various stakeholders.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • An active DoD TS Security Clearance.
  • Expertise in communications, sensors, and effector systems, particularly in Radar, EO/IR, RF, and EW domains.
  • Experience in physics-based modeling and analysis of system performance.
  • A minimum of 3 years in payload integration and validation, with a preference for 5+ years in a relevant scientific or engineering field.

Preferred Skills
Ideal candidates will have:

  • Knowledge of advanced communications, sensing, and effector systems.
  • Experience in platform-level system trade and integration.
  • Proficiency in analytical tools or programming languages such as MATLAB, Python, C++, COMSOL, or Ansys.
  • Advanced communications and sensing domain experience.
  • Experience with missile design and integration.
