We are currently in search of an Outdoor Sales Representative who will play a crucial role in identifying and assessing potential sales opportunities in various public settings. This position involves active participation in events, trade shows, and community activities to enhance visibility and attract prospective customers. As a representative of Deljo Heating and Cooling, you will be the first point of contact for potential clients, showcasing our products and services.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm, with the possibility of weekend work as needed

Compensation: $20.00/hour plus commission ($25.00 for each appointment scheduled)

Qualifications Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and adaptable to varying hours
  • Strong customer service abilities
  • Proficient with technology
  • Excellent communication skills, particularly in sales
  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively

Note: Candidates must successfully pass a background check and drug screening prior to receiving a conditional job offer.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to walk and stand for extended periods
  • Light lifting required for transporting marketing materials to events

Work Environment:

  • Combination of indoor and outdoor settings
  • Engagement in public and community environments

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct canvassing in designated neighborhoods to identify potential clients and generate leads for HVAC services
  • Engage with homeowners to provide information about HVAC products and services, addressing any inquiries or concerns
  • Schedule appointments for HVAC sales representatives to conduct thorough consultations and assessments
  • Maintain accurate records of interactions and follow-up actions, ensuring a smooth transition of leads to the sales team
  • Participate in community events and local festivals to promote our services
