Position Overview:
This remote and travel-based role requires working within a designated territory, delivering technical solutions for operational efficiency, identifying sales prospects, and building enduring relationships with clients. The Field Service Sales Representative will be instrumental in advocating for the company’s product offerings and ensuring top-notch service to commercial laundry customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote and market the complete product range to current clients.
- Create a targeted sales prospect list, cultivate relationships, and acquire new clients.
- Ensure adequate sales coverage within the assigned region.
- Provide service, maintenance, and communication for accounts.
- Install and configure chemical dosing systems to integrate with clients' washing machines.
- Oversee the planning and implementation of new installations or upgrades.
- Maintain all company-issued equipment in optimal working order.
- Operate within the designated expense budget.
- Manage collection of overdue accounts, if necessary.
- Reduce the frequency of urgent product orders.
- Submit all required reports promptly.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the commercial laundry or chemical sectors (or a comparable mix of education and experience)
- Bachelor's Degree is preferred
- Military experience is advantageous
- Strong analytical, organizational, and technical/mechanical abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel, as well as internet and order processing software.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with precision.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Capability to meet the physical demands of the role: lifting up to 50 pounds, frequent standing and walking, working in wet or humid conditions, proximity to moving mechanical parts, exposure to chemicals, and high noise levels.
