Job Overview

Adventure Learning Behavioral Interventions is in search of a dedicated Billing Specialist to enhance our financial operations. This pivotal role is essential for ensuring efficient financial workflows and promoting the availability of various therapy services, including ABA, SLP, and OT, for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and input contracts into Code Metro
  • Conduct credentialing and benefit verifications
  • Compile necessary documentation for authorizations, including Written Orders and authorization request forms
  • Proofread and audit documents before submission
  • Track authorization timelines and provide updates to relevant staff
  • Review and submit billing information to insurance providers
  • Monitor claims and follow up as needed

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
  • Proficient in Code Metro or similar billing software
  • Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations
  • Experience as a Billing Specialist in ABA, with a preference for SLP/OT experience
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and adhere to deadlines

Position Type: Part-time, approximately 3 days per week with at least 1 day in-office.

Compensation: $20-$25 per hour, based on experience.

Work Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • No weekend shifts
