The Normal Brand is a rapidly expanding clothing company that offers apparel and accessories both online and in numerous retail locations across the United States. We are currently seeking a dedicated, personable, and goal-driven Assistant Store Leader to enhance our retail experience. Our store environment prioritizes cleanliness, enjoyment, and a fun atmosphere for both employees and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Our mission is to uplift customers' spirits, promote clothing sales, and foster a fun shopping experience.
  • Inspire, develop, and lead the team to ensure exceptional customer service and drive sales performance.
  • Uphold high standards of customer service throughout the store and among the team.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with our clientele.
  • Encourage suggestive selling techniques to optimize revenue.
  • Oversee inventory management and restock the sales floor as necessary.
  • Ensure the store and merchandise are maintained to The Normal Brand's standards.
  • Provide constructive feedback on product performance to the Store Manager.
  • Mentor and guide team members through effective communication.
  • Educate and train the team on product knowledge.
  • Assist the Store Manager in various business operations.
  • Foster a respectful and communicative work environment.
  • Be responsible for the security of the store.
Qualifications:
  • 1-2 years of experience in retail apparel.
  • Willingness to learn from feedback and tackle challenges in a dynamic setting.
  • Experience in inventory management.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • A collaborative team player who enjoys their work and takes initiative.
  • Self-motivated and driven.
  • Independent, goal-oriented, data-driven, competitive, and positive.
  • Approachable and friendly demeanor.
  • Strong understanding of retail business principles.
  • Integrity in inventory management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Drive.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to new systems and processes.
  • Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Commitment to maintaining full-time status with 38-40 hours per week.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in retail management.
  • Background in the fashion/apparel industry.
  • Passion for enhancing customer satisfaction.
  • Familiarity with Shopify and Shopify POS.
  • Strong ethical standards.
  • Excellent sense of fashion.
  • Self-awareness and humility.
  • Exhibit qualities of being humble, hungry, and smart.
