  • Employment Type: Part Time
  • Work Schedule: Monday-Friday (with alternating weekends)

Key Responsibilities:

As a Universal Caregiver, you will provide compassionate and individualized support to residents within our community. Your role will encompass assisting residents with their daily activities and ensuring their comfort and well-being.

Qualifications for Universal Caregiver:

  • High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
  • Experience in healthcare, geriatrics, or working with elderly individuals is advantageous.
  • A minimum score of 85 on the Skills Assessment is required.
  • A genuine desire to work with the elderly population is essential.
  • Completion of training as per state regulations.
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification is mandatory.
  • Must have a TB clearance.

Core Duties:

  • Assist residents with personal hygiene, including bathing and grooming.
  • Support residents with dressing and encourage appropriate attire.
  • Maintain cleanliness in residents' living spaces, including bed-making and organizing.
  • Facilitate dining experiences for residents requiring assistance.
  • Administer medications according to established protocols for each resident.
  • Respond promptly to emergency calls and assist residents with mobility needs.
  • Monitor and report vital signs and any changes in residents' conditions to nursing staff.
  • Ensure cleanliness of mobility aids and assistive devices.
  • Engage residents in activities and provide companionship.
  • Maintain a safe and respectful environment, adhering to the Resident Bill of Rights.
  • Complete daily documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Follow infection control protocols and maintain cleanliness in all service areas.
  • Report any incidents or concerns regarding resident care immediately.
