  • Work Schedule: Monday-Friday (with every other weekend required)

Role Summary:

As a Universal Caregiver, you will deliver compassionate and individualized support to residents within our community. This role involves assisting residents with their daily activities and ensuring their comfort and well-being.

Qualifications for Universal Caregiver:

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Prior experience in healthcare, geriatrics, or working with the elderly is advantageous.
  • A minimum score of 85 on the Skills Test is required.
  • A genuine desire to work with the elderly population is essential.
  • Completion of training as per state regulations.
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification is mandatory.
  • Must have a TB clearance.

Key Responsibilities for Universal Caregiver:

  • Assist residents with personal hygiene, including bathing and grooming.
  • Support residents in dressing and encourage appropriate attire.
  • Maintain cleanliness in residents' living spaces, including making beds and organizing personal items.
  • Assist residents during meals, ensuring they receive the necessary support.
  • Administer medications as per established protocols for each resident.
  • Respond promptly to emergency calls and assist residents with mobility needs.
  • Monitor and report vital signs and any changes in residents' conditions to nursing staff.
  • Maintain cleanliness of mobility aids and assistive devices.
  • Uphold residents' dignity and privacy while providing care.
  • Engage residents in activities and promote a vibrant community life.
  • Complete daily documentation as required.
  • Adhere to infection control procedures and maintain a clean work environment.
  • Report any incidents or concerns immediately.
  • Assist with meal preparation and ensure dietary restrictions are followed.
  • Provide high-quality service to residents and guests in a timely manner.
