McFarland Clinic is actively seeking qualified candidates for the role of CMA/LPN within its Neurology department. Ideal candidates will demonstrate a commitment to patient care, teamwork, and a dedication to providing exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Neurological healthcare and patient management in alignment with McFarland Clinic's service standards.
  • Prepare and assist patients and their families for consultations.
  • Measure and record vital signs.
  • Coordinate referrals and obtain prior authorizations.
  • Administer injections as required.
  • Handle patient communications and manage medication refills.
  • Assist physicians during medical procedures.
  • Maintain and update electronic medical records.
  • Verify and refresh medication lists.
  • Provide mobility assistance to patients.

Educational Requirements:

  • Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing school.

Licensure and Certification:

  • Certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or as a Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) from American Medical Technologists (AMT), NAHP, NCCT, NHA.
  • Possession of a valid State Licensed Practical Nurse license.
  • Current Basic Life Support Certification for healthcare providers.
  • Mandatory Reporting of Dependent Adult and Child Abuse certification.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday

Working Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Experience: A minimum of 1 year of clinical experience is preferred.
