Job Summary

The Merchant Services Business Development Officer will play a key role in driving growth of our Merchant Services program by working closely with Bankers, Branches, and Sales Leadership. This individual will be responsible for championing Merchant Services across the organization and developing and executing robust sales plans to grow our merchant portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Champion and promote Merchant Services across the organization
  • Plan, coordinate, and participate in client sales events, promotions, and campaigns
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive growth and achieve sales goals
  • Work with partners to develop marketing materials and enhance online visibility
  • Maintain sales pipeline and pipeline reporting
  • Leverage data and analytics to identify opportunities and drive sales growth
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in a Merchant Sales/Management role and/or related business payments experience
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Strong business development and presentation skills
  • Ability to interact with internal and external clients in a highly professional manner
  • Excellent analytical, consulting, and negotiating skills
