Key Responsibilities:

• Generate daily reports for management, detailing project progress and resource allocation.

• Track planned versus actual man-hours and analyze variances.

• Monitor the status of routine and non-routine tasks, ensuring timely completion.

• Identify potential delays in aircraft release due to parts or engineering issues.

• Prioritize non-routine tasks and collaborate with production leaders for estimates.

• Maintain visibility of ongoing work through effective management of work boards.

• Communicate progress clearly across all teams involved in aircraft maintenance.

• Work closely with the Planning Department to develop project timelines and budgets.

• Organize aircraft work packages in alignment with project schedules.

• Assist in coordinating with various support teams to align with aircraft schedules.

• Collaborate with the inspection team to ensure compliance during inspections and deliveries.

• Monitor daily budgets and operational efficiency, addressing any discrepancies.

• Prepare financial summaries and trend analyses for management review.

• Support billing processes post-aircraft departure within established timelines.

Operational Duties:

• Conduct daily inspections to uphold a safe and organized work environment.

• Perform regular audits of tools and equipment.

• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations.

• Participate in investigations to identify root causes of issues and implement corrective measures.

• Conduct in-process audits to maintain quality standards.

• Facilitate effective communication during shift changes.

Technical Responsibilities:

• Allocate appropriate personnel for maintenance tasks.

• Ensure staff receive necessary technical training.

• Verify that maintenance tasks are performed using accurate reference materials.

• Manage the ordering and tracking of required parts.

• Provide management with precise data and assist in project planning.

Administrative Functions:

• Oversee attendance records for the team.

• Review and approve weekly work logs.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.

• Conduct performance evaluations and manage workforce scheduling.

• Foster a culture of safety and efficiency within the team.

• Guide and mentor team members to enhance productivity.

• Maintain budgetary oversight and communicate any challenges.

• Participate in meetings to discuss project statuses and resource needs.

Qualifications:
  • Valid A&P License required.
  • Airframe License or Repairman's Certificate preferred.
  • Business degree in aviation or equivalent experience is advantageous.
  • Minimum of five years in aircraft maintenance or supervisory roles.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Exceptional communication skills are essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.
Skills and Abilities:

• Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.

• Effective networking capabilities across departments.

• Proficient in office software with a typing speed of at least 35 WPM.

• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.

• Self-motivated and able to work independently.

• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

• Capable of performing physical tasks including bending, stooping, and climbing.

• Must possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
