Job Summary:

The Building Care Specialist is tasked with the daily upkeep and monitoring of our client’s premises. This role involves collaborating with Building Management on various requests and projects as assigned.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain cleanliness in all public and operational areas throughout the facility.
  • Oversee designated plaza and/or parking garage spaces as required.
  • Ensure elevator interiors are kept clean and orderly.
  • Preserve the appearance of the lobby and initial impression areas.
  • Maintain the exterior aesthetics of the building.
  • Ensure restrooms are clean and well-stocked.
  • Monitor and replenish restroom supplies as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the building grounds.
  • Oversee the loading dock area.
  • Regularly clean stairwells, including dust mopping weekly and damp mopping landings and treads monthly.
  • Conduct snow removal as necessary.
  • Respond to special requests throughout the workday.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to work designated hours.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • Ability to engage in face-to-face discussions with individuals or groups at all professional levels.
  • Work in close proximity to others.
  • Adapt to outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
  • Engage in standing, walking, sitting, stooping, or kneeling as required.
