Job Summary:

The Building Care Specialist is tasked with the daily upkeep and monitoring of our client’s premises. This role involves collaboration with Building Management to fulfill various requests and projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain cleanliness in all public and operational areas of the facility.
  • Oversee plaza and parking garage areas as directed.
  • Ensure elevator interiors are kept tidy and presentable.
  • Preserve the cleanliness of lobby and reception areas.
  • Maintain the exterior appearance of the building.
  • Ensure restrooms are clean and well-stocked.
  • Monitor and maintain the grounds surrounding the building.
  • Conduct regular checks of the loading dock.
  • Perform daily cleaning of stairwells and maintain their cleanliness on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Manage snow removal as needed.
  • Respond to special requests throughout the workday.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Willingness to work designated hours.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • Ability to engage in face-to-face discussions with individuals or groups at all professional levels.
  • Work in close proximity to others.
  • Adapt to outdoor conditions in varying weather.
  • Engage in standing, walking, sitting, stooping, or kneeling as required.
