We are looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable Naval Combat Systems Expert to become part of our team, contributing to the COMNAVSURFPAC Readiness Assistance Training Team (RATT). This role involves delivering essential support to naval vessels and enhancing their operational readiness and self-reliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough evaluations of material conditions, analyze combat systems initiatives, and review maintenance protocols.
  • Deliver both classroom instruction and hands-on training to personnel on the safe and effective operation, upkeep, and management of combat systems aboard naval vessels.
  • Make a significant impact on the training and development of numerous personnel within the Pacific Fleet.

Essential Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Over twenty (20) years of experience in the technical operations and maintenance of AEGIS or SSDS Combat Systems, with expertise comparable to that of a Combat Systems Maintenance Manager or Electronics Material Officer.
  • Extensive knowledge of Navy network and communication systems, including supporting systems and their integration with shipboard technologies.
  • Recent hands-on experience with Navy electronic warfare and countermeasure systems currently utilized in the fleet.
  • More than twenty years of experience in the operation and maintenance of naval gunnery systems.

Security Clearance:

  • Must be a U.S. citizen and possess an active Secret Security Clearance.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to navigate shipboard environments, including climbing ladders as necessary.
  • Must be capable of observing and reporting effectively.
  • Frequent communication with colleagues, management, and clients, which may include delivering presentations.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $73,500-$122,600, influenced by various factors such as relevant experience, skills, geographic location, and educational background.
