Position Summary:
As a Senior Technology Systems Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the design and implementation of advanced technology systems. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Reporting directly to the Technology Systems Architect.
  • Designing integrated solutions for ICT, Audio Visual, Security, and Access Control systems.
  • Utilizing your knowledge of relevant industry standards and specifications.
  • Creating detailed design specifications for technology implementations.
  • Producing technical drawings using tools such as Visio, Bluebeam, and CAD.
  • Collaborating with our Revit/CAD team to develop comprehensive floor plans and device placements.
  • Assessing technology equipment for suitability in design applications.
  • Drafting system specifications and functional narratives in accordance with Master Format templates.
  • Engaging with multidisciplinary design teams, including electrical, mechanical, and architectural consultants.
  • Leading design meetings with clients and project teams.
  • Estimating budgetary costs for implementation.
  • Overseeing construction administration tasks, including site reviews and reporting.
  • Fostering business development and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Coordinating and mentoring junior team members.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
  • Experience with remote task management tools and remote team collaboration.
  • Strong leadership and team development skills, including mentorship and goal-setting.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and team structures.
  • A relevant four-year degree; industry certifications such as CTS, CTS-D, RCDD, CSP, PSP, or PMP are advantageous.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Experience with design software such as Visio, Bluebeam, and CAD is a plus.
  • Comfort with remote communication technologies like Microsoft Teams, Webex, and Zoom.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective working relationships.
  • A proactive, adaptable, and problem-solving approach.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Experience in the engineering, architectural, or construction sectors is beneficial.
  • The ability to anticipate project needs and exceed expectations.
