Position Summary:
As a Senior Technology Systems Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in the design and implementation of advanced technology systems. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure that our solutions meet the highest standards of quality and functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Report directly to the Technology Systems Architect.
  • Design systems for Integrated Communication and Technology (ICAT), Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Audio Visual, Security (ESS), Access Control, and Structured Cabling.
  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of Division 27 and 28 requirements related to ESS, Audio Visual, ICT, and ICAT.
  • Draft detailed design specifications for technology solutions.
  • Create technical drawings using Visio, Bluebeam, and CAD, including system line diagrams.
  • Collaborate with the Revit/CAD team to produce floor plans and elevations that illustrate device placements.
  • Evaluate industry technology equipment for suitability in design solutions.
  • Develop written system specifications and functional narratives using Master Format templates.
  • Engage with the design team, including electrical, mechanical, and architectural consultants.
  • Lead design meetings with clients and the design team.
  • Prepare budgetary implementation costs.
  • Oversee construction administration as needed, including site reviews and reporting.
  • Foster business development and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Coordinate and mentor junior team members.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
  • Experience with remote task management software and leading remote teams.
  • Strong leadership skills with a focus on team development and mentorship.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and sprint-based team structures.
  • A four-year degree in a related field is required; industry certifications such as CTS, CTS-D, RCDD, CSP, PSP, or PMP are advantageous.
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Experience with design markup tools like Visio, Bluebeam, and CAD is a plus.
  • Comfortable using remote collaboration technologies such as Microsoft Teams, Webex, Zoom, and GoToMeeting.
  • Ability to cultivate strong working relationships.
  • Possess an energetic, diplomatic, and flexible problem-solving approach.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and take initiative.
  • Experience in the Engineering, Architectural, or Construction sectors is beneficial.
  • Ability to anticipate needs and exceed expectations.
