Business Development Manager

The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving sales and marketing efforts in an assigned territory. They will develop and implement a marketing plan to expand the customer base and meet business goals. Working closely with the sales and support team, they will ensure customer satisfaction, revenue growth, and long-term account goals align with the company vision and values.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service by maintaining regular communications, staying up-to-date with industry knowledge, and addressing customer needs.
- Accurately record sales and prospecting activities, including sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up activities within the assigned territory.
- Meet or exceed target sales created by management.
- Participate in sales meetings and contribute to setting sales goals and budgets.
- Develop and deliver educational programs for agents and clients.
- Stay informed about company promotions and coordinate marketing activities.
- Assist in creating and distributing marketing materials and merchandise.
- Manage the company's social media presence and create engaging content.
- Attend networking events to build awareness and establish relationships with influencers.
- Plan and execute client classes and events.
- Address customer complaints and escalate issues to management if necessary.
- Support the VP of Marketing & Business Development in achieving company objectives.
- Participate in industry-related functions and committees.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and ethics codes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business or marketing.
- Five years of sales experience.
- Two years of experience in the title industry.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in design tools like Canva and Photoshop.
- Solid selling skills and ability to problem-solve.
- Good presentation skills to present products/services to groups.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook.
- Experience with CRM software.
