Job Description

The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving sales and marketing efforts in an assigned territory. They will develop and implement a marketing plan to expand the customer base and meet business goals. Working closely with the sales and support team, they will ensure customer satisfaction, revenue growth, and long-term account goals align with the company vision and values.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service by maintaining regular communications, staying up-to-date with industry knowledge, and addressing customer needs.
  • Accurately record sales and prospecting activities, including sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up activities within the assigned territory.
  • Meet or exceed target sales created by management.
  • Participate in sales meetings and contribute to setting sales goals and budgets.
  • Develop and deliver educational programs for agents and clients.
  • Stay informed about company promotions and coordinate marketing activities.
  • Assist in creating and distributing marketing materials and merchandise.
  • Manage the company's social media presence and create engaging content.
  • Attend networking events to build awareness and establish relationships with influencers.
  • Plan and execute client classes and events.
  • Address customer complaints and escalate issues to management if necessary.
  • Support the VP of Marketing & Business Development in achieving company objectives.
  • Participate in industry-related functions and committees.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and ethics codes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or marketing.
  • Five years of sales experience.
  • Two years of experience in the title industry.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in design tools like Canva and Photoshop.
  • Solid selling skills and ability to problem-solve.
  • Good presentation skills to present products/services to groups.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook.
  • Experience with CRM software.
