Job Title: Cybersecurity Information Security Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Information Security Analyst to join our team at Interactive Process Technology LLC. As a Cybersecurity Information Security Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our systems and data.

Job Summary:

The Cybersecurity Information Security Analyst will be responsible for investigating and analyzing network activities in cyberspace to identify and mitigate risks to our mission success. This includes developing strategies to identify, evaluate, and minimize risks in the local cyberspace environment, creating and implementing strategies and techniques to merge and display relevant Mission Relevant Terrain Cyber (MRT-C), and assisting with Functional Mission Analysis-Cyber (FMA-C) to identify, map, and develop a defense plan to safeguard MRT-C.

Responsibilities:
  • Investigate and analyze network activities in cyberspace to identify and mitigate risks to our mission success.
  • Develop strategies to identify, evaluate, and minimize risks in the local cyberspace environment.
  • Create and implement strategies and techniques to merge and display relevant MRT-C.
  • Assist with FMA-C to identify, map, and develop a defense plan to safeguard MRT-C.
  • Maintain databases to monitor systems, modify user boundaries, and create indexing to make searches easier.
  • Review and provide recommendations for establishing new or revised policies, procedures, objectives, and organization design for the staff, as necessary.
  • Receive and analyze network alerts from various sources within the enterprise and determine possible causes of such alerts.
  • Define/perform vulnerability assessments leveraging threat analysis to scope/prioritize efforts.
  • Document and escalate incidents and perform cyber defense trend analysis and reporting.
Requirements:
  • DoD 8140 IAT Level II certification.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information system engineering, or related technical discipline in cybersecurity or information technology, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications, training, and work experience.
  • 5+ years of combined experience.
  • Functional Mission Analysis in Cyberspace processes and associated mapping and defense of Mission-Relevant Terrain in Cyberspace.
  • Information Technology (IT) cybersecurity principles, concepts, and methods to investigate, analyze, and respond to cyber incidents within a computer network environment or enclave.
  • IT security principles, policies, products, and services to assess risk factors and advise on vulnerability to attack from a variety of sources and procedures and methods for protection of systems and applications.
  • Commonly applied telecommunications principles, concepts, and methodologies, operating characteristics and capabilities of systems, media, equipment, and related software systems, processes, and procedures to assess the efficiency of operations and make recommendations involving equipment and system integrity.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 10 years of DoD or USAF experience as a Senior Non-Commissioned Officer or Officer with demonstrated leadership abilities.
