Job Overview

AWP Safety is a leading traffic control specialist in North America, dedicated to securing work zones and ensuring the safety of customer crews, drivers, and teams.

We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to represent our company in potential and existing energy, broadband, transportation, and construction markets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales Appointments: Conduct weekly meetings with key decision-makers on existing accounts to maintain and grow our business.
  • New Opportunities: Research and identify prospective new accounts through calls and industry trends.
  • Pipeline Management: Build and maintain a qualified pipeline to drive sales growth.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Inside Sales and Operations teams to develop new opportunities.
  • Business Planning: Create forecasts and plans to achieve weekly sales targets.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree preferred; formal sales training beneficial.
  • Experience: 4-7 years of B2B outside sales experience with proven success.
  • Communication Skills: Strong presentation and communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Customer Orientation: Exhibiting strong customer orientation, developing partnerships by understanding customer needs.
  • Results-Driven: Proven track record of growing market share, results-driven attitude, and ability to work independently.
  • Travel Requirements: Traveling daily into the field, some overnight travel required.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Valid driver's license and ability to meet AWP Safety driver standards.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in tools like Excel and CRM, ability to read financial data.
