Position Overview
The Energy Efficiency Program Manager is responsible for steering the operational strategy, resources, and initiatives necessary for the successful execution of demand-side management programs aimed at achieving energy efficiency targets for both Residential and Commercial & Industrial (C&I) sectors. This role involves overseeing the introduction of innovative products and services through collaboration with various departments including operations, legal, regulatory, and procurement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of processes for implementing and delivering demand-side management and energy efficiency services within PSEG's programs, coordinating efforts across multiple teams.
- Oversee both internal teams and external partners to ensure that program objectives are met while maintaining high standards of safety, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
- Provide strategic leadership and direction to internal stakeholders to enhance existing processes, policies, and procedures; offer expert advice on the evaluation and creation of new products and services.
- Establish and nurture partnerships with vendors and trade allies to support current energy efficiency initiatives and foster future program development; represent PSEG in internal committees and working groups.
- Manage the development, upkeep, and improvement of IT systems used for program management and performance reporting.
- Prepare and oversee program budgets and assist with regulatory submissions.
- Promote a strong culture of integrity, diversity, teamwork, and wellness within the organization.
Qualifications
Essential:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business.
- A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
- Proven expertise in demand response initiatives.
- Familiarity with utility regulations and accounting practices.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of PJM capacity markets.
- Understanding of the utility sector.
Experience Requirement
At least 6 years of professional experience in a related field.
