Job Summary

PSEG is seeking a highly skilled Program Manager to lead our Clean Energy Job Program, which aims to support the recruitment and training of the workforce required to implement energy-efficient projects. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing program plans, working with suppliers, and collaborating with government agencies and community organizations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement program plans to support the recruitment and training of the workforce required to implement energy-efficient projects.
  • Work with suppliers to refine program key performance indicators and implement future offerings to support long-term program goals.
  • Collaborate with government agencies and community organizations to build external partnerships and program growth.
  • Supervise and develop internal support staff.
  • Manage the program budget, including developing budget proposals, justifying expenses, and monitoring expenditures.
Requirements
  • BS degree in Business, Engineering, Communications, or 8 years equivalent functional experience.
  • At least 7 years of PM experience.
  • Knowledge of Contract Management compliance.
  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills, strong planning and organizing skills, adaptable, and result-oriented.
  • Process development/improvement and project management skills.
  • Clear and concise writing and verbal communication skills.
  • Internal consulting skills, strong presentation skills, proven ability to lead, coach, and motivate a team.
  • Experience with MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Visio.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • PMP certification required within two years of taking the position.
Desired Qualifications
  • Knowledge of Energy Efficiency work practices and training.
  • 2 years of Project Management related to workforce development.
  • Current PSE&G Six Sigma Black or Green Belt.
  • Track record of managing complex multi-disciplined teams and projects.
