Position Summary:

Shift Schedule: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM

  • Transport raw materials (wire and components) to machinery as required.
  • Weigh and relocate products from machinery to staging and shipping zones.
  • Distribute raw materials to designated areas within the facility.
  • Organize empty containers and carriers into storage boxes.
  • Follow processing forms or verbal instructions to determine materials for movement.
  • Utilize industrial trucks or electric hoists for loading and moving materials.
  • Load and unload materials from pallets, trays, racks, or carriers.
  • Secure materials in vehicles using strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent damage during transport.
  • Document counts, weights, and quantities of materials handled for production reporting.
  • Transport materials from storage or work areas to specified locations.
  • Label materials with identifying tags and create ID tags based on supplier information.
  • Prepare shipments by transferring parts from containers to bins and attaching necessary documentation.
  • Assign lot numbers to raw materials and maintain accurate records.
  • Receive packages and deliver them to appropriate locations using scanning technology.
  • Remove scrap materials and document their weight.
  • Conduct daily preventative maintenance and record findings.
  • Perform additional tasks as directed.
Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a plant or warehouse environment, with a focus on material handling preferred.
  • Mindset geared towards continuous improvement.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Basic mathematical skills for performing calculations.
  • Proficiency in operating computers and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with stand-up and sit-down forklifts is required.
  • Capability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Understanding and adherence to safety regulations.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with QAD ERP System is a plus.
