Job Summary

Ferrara is seeking a highly skilled Material Handler to join our Warehouse Operations team. As a Material Handler, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth flow of goods and materials throughout our production lines, packaging areas, and trailers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation and Inventory Management: Safely transport products, packaging, and raw materials to and from production lines, packaging areas, and trailers, while maintaining accurate inventory records.
  • Warehouse Organization: Organize and maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to company procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate Reach and Standup forklift trucks, hand jacks, and stretch-wrappers, ensuring proper usage and maintenance.
  • Quality Control: Verify case/pallet counts and patterns, reporting any discrepancies to the floor and/or department supervisor.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve production goals, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
Requirements
  • Experience: 1 year of forklift and reach truck experience, certified preferred.
  • Skills: Ability to operate heavy machinery, lift up to 60 lbs, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
