Position: Customer Service Representative - Customs Brokerage

Job Responsibilities

The primary duties of this role include:

  1. Facilitating an efficient customs process to ensure timely delivery.
  2. Performing accurate data entry into our operational systems.
  3. Monitoring and reporting on customs files.
  4. Ensuring precise and timely billing for clients.
  5. Interpreting and applying customs procedures to meet client expectations.
  6. Transferring customs declaration data from various sources into our systems.
  7. Assisting in the verification and submission of customs declarations to authorities.
  8. Maintaining compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

Ideal candidates will possess:

  • 6 months to 1 year of customer service experience or equivalent education.
  • Familiarity with transportation documentation and terminology is advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
  • Proactive organizational abilities and a strong desire to learn.
  • Competency in computer applications such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Fluency in both English and Spanish.

Reporting Structure

This position reports to the Customs Brokerage Lead Agent, Supervisor, and Manager.
