Job Summary:

Maintenance Technicians at Lenco Industries Inc are responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our mechanical equipment and machinery. This involves troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing complex systems to prevent downtime and ensure business continuity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Equipment Diagnostics and Repair: Diagnose and repair mechanical problems to keep equipment running smoothly, utilizing advanced troubleshooting techniques and technical knowledge.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Perform routine preventative maintenance on all equipment, including building or dismantling machines, to prevent breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan.
  • Inspections and Reporting: Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly equipment inspections, documenting findings and communicating results to management, including necessary corrective actions.
  • Facility Maintenance: Report all facility issues that are not immediately repairable to the Facilities Manager, ensuring prompt attention to maintenance needs.
  • Confidentiality and Data Protection: Maintain confidentiality and observe data protection guidelines when handling sensitive information.
  • Safety and Compliance: Identify and repair potential safety hazards, adhere to occupational hazards and safety rules, and ensure compliance with all state regulations.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas of process improvement, cost reduction, and waste reduction, implementing changes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Work collaboratively with colleagues, demonstrating sensitivity to and respect for a diverse population, and communicate effectively with all departments to ensure equipment is operating properly.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Grounds Maintenance: Clean building floors, plow, sand, and salt properties as needed, and perform lawn care and parking lot repair.
  • Event Support: Set up, arrange, and remove decorations, tables, chairs, and trash receptacles to prepare facilities for company events and meetings.
  • Safety and Environmental Compliance: Follow company safety policies and safe work practices, interface with all departments to ensure equipment is operating properly, and understand and comply with Lenco safety and environmental policies.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate forklifts and cranes safely and efficiently, and select the proper safety equipment and consumables for employees.
Requirements:
  • Manufacturing Experience: Experience in manufacturing equipment diagnosis and repair, use of cleaning/maintenance equipment, and use of grounds keeping equipment.
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Certifications: Fork Lift Operator Certification, Hoisting and Rigging Certification, and a valid Driver License.
