The salary range for this position is $88,640 to $115,232, based on experience.

Education:
High School Diploma Experience:
Associate degree with 10 years of underground construction and maintenance experience, or a High School diploma with 13 years of construction and maintenance experience. Supervisory experience with both union and non-union teams is preferred.
Purpose:
Supervises personnel in the construction, operations, and maintenance of gas distribution and transmission systems. Plans, organizes, and schedules new construction projects, preventive and corrective maintenance, inspections, and training activities. Ensures that construction and maintenance tasks are completed in compliance with industry standards, adhering to approved policies, procedures, safety regulations, and budget constraints. Engages frequently with customers (internal and external) to address issues and ensure satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversees company personnel and inspects subcontractor teams in the construction, operation, and maintenance of gas distribution systems to guarantee system integrity and public safety.
1. Plans, schedules, and directs new and replacement gas construction projects.
2. Conducts preventive maintenance and inspects facilities for corrective maintenance.
3. Provides safety training to construction teams.
4. Ensures compliance with construction standards, policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
5. Engages with customers to resolve issues and enhance satisfaction.
6. Prepares necessary documentation, including damage reports and accident reports, to account for completed work.
7. Reviews and approves as-built drawings, leak repair reports, and other essential paperwork to maintain accurate company records.
Knowledge Requirements:
Familiarity with underground gas construction, natural gas properties, labor agreements, gas leak detection methods, CBYD regulations, and State and Federal pipeline safety regulations is essential.
Skills in reading construction maps and drawings, mechanical aptitude, effective communication, and organizational abilities are required. A valid driver's license is necessary. The role demands availability for after-hours response to emergencies and critical assignments, including on-call rotational duties.
