- Identify opportunities for improvement and implement best practices to optimize maintenance operations and reduce costs.
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in maintenance or a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Staff or in a similar role, ideally in a commercial or residential setting.
- Strong knowledge of general maintenance activities, including repair techniques, safety protocols, and building systems.
- Exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Proficiency in using a variety of tools and equipment related to maintenance and repair work.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and address maintenance issues.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, for clear and concise reporting and interaction with team members, contractors, and management.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
