Position Summary

Role: Assembly Quality Specialist

Stratosphere Quality is on the lookout for a detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Assembly Quality Specialist. This position involves the assembly and disassembly of robotic components while ensuring adherence to quality assurance standards. You will play a vital role in enhancing operational efficiency through training and support.

Compensation: Competitive hourly rate

Shift: Day shift, Monday to Friday


Key Responsibilities

Core Functions:

  • Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of customer requirements and expectations. Your ability to navigate the complexities of the products handled and address specific challenges is essential for success in this role.
  • Significantly contribute to the development of an advanced robotic system tailored for our operations. You will gain hands-on experience in disassembling, reworking, and assembling components with high-quality materials, ensuring efficient handling and rigorous quality control.
  • Facilitate the seamless integration of robotic systems into existing operational frameworks, ensuring compatibility with other machinery and software. Conduct thorough testing to validate performance, reliability, and compliance with quality standards.
  • Establish and maintain comprehensive quality assurance protocols to monitor robotic performance and ensure compliance with industry regulations. Your expertise in inspections, preventive maintenance, and hardware updates will be crucial to our success.
  • Deliver comprehensive training to team members on the safe and effective operation and maintenance of robotic systems. Provide ongoing technical support to address any challenges or optimization opportunities, fostering a collaborative environment to continuously enhance operations.

Qualifications

Required Skills:

  • Demonstrated experience in assembling products using basic tools, showcasing precision and efficiency in following assembly guidelines.
  • Proficient in handling various components and materials throughout the assembly process.
  • Experience in disassembling subassemblies or components from larger products, exhibiting skillfulness in safely dismantling parts with the appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail, with the ability to manipulate small parts effectively during assembly and disassembly tasks.
  • Basic understanding of mechanical principles and assembly techniques, with the capability to interpret assembly instructions, diagrams, and technical drawings.
  • Excellent communication skills for clear instruction following and effective teamwork, with a proactive approach to seeking guidance when necessary.
  • Willingness to collaborate with colleagues to achieve assembly goals and contribute positively to the team environment.
  • Physical fitness is essential, as the role involves standing, bending, lifting, and repetitive motions, requiring stamina for efficient task execution.
