Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Guest Service Representative to join our team at the Sheraton Grand Sacramento Hotel. As a key member of our Rooms & Guest Services Operations team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their stay with us is memorable and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Organize and confirm guest check-ins and check-outs, room reservations, requests, changes, and cancellations.
  • Secure payment and verify billing information.
  • Activate and file room keys, and process all guest requests and relay messages.
  • Print contingency lists and maintain accurate records of guest information.
  • Identify and explain room features to guests, and provide directions and information about property amenities, services, and local areas of interest.
  • Follow up on outstanding requests or problems from the previous day and resolve them.
  • Run and review daily reports and logs, and complete designated cashier and closing reports.
  • Accept and record wake-up call requests and deliver them to the appropriate department.
  • Count and secure bank at the beginning and end of each shift.
  • Process all payment types, adjustment vouchers, paid-outs, correction vouchers, and miscellaneous charges.
  • Notify Loss Prevention/Security of any guest reports of theft.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role preferred.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and credit transactions.
