Job Summary

The Generalist, People Business Partner will play a critical role in executing on People team initiatives and providing exceptional HR support for the Technology organization at Saks Global.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the initial point of contact for all employees within the Technology organization for any general people-related questions or topics.
  • Assist on all people team-related programs and processes throughout the year, including training programs, performance reviews, talent calibrations, promotions, and more.
  • Own and manage all HRIS transactions, processes, and documentation for all employee lifecycle events, including salary, reporting structure, position changes, and internal mobility.
  • Facilitate new hire onboarding, planning, and execution independently.
  • Manage and track the Leave of Absence process in partnership with the Benefits team.
  • Support the People Business Partners to support employee relations matters, including investigations and performance management.
  • Audit and liaise with cross-functional teams to manage general reporting and data requests.
  • Analyze various HR metrics and data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide recommendations as it relates to various People Processes and Policies.
  • Participate in and support ad-hoc reports and projects as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources/Business Administration or related field preferred or equivalent years of experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in human resources/people team-related function.
  • Previous experience within a retail/e-commerce/technology industry is a plus.
  • Previous experience working with technology leaders and teams strongly preferred.
  • High proficiency in GSuite and MS Office.
  • Proficient in HRIS and ATS (e.g., Workday).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the capability and desire to work within a collaborative team.
  • Ability to communicate verbal and written information effectively.
