Site Security Specialist - On-Site Role

Location: BS32 4RT, Bristol

Compensation: £9.65 per hour

Status: Open

Position Overview

This role requires an average of 46.5 hours per week, with full uniform and personal protective equipment provided.

Shift Pattern:

  • Monday and Tuesday nights
  • Weekends - Saturday and Sunday daytime
  • Alternative Wednesday nights

Your Impact as a Security Specialist:

As a Security Specialist, you will:

  • Prevent and deter unauthorized access to the premises.
  • Provide a range of mobile services, including patrols and alarm responses for our clients.
  • Conduct escort duties and perform additional tasks as required during your shift.
  • Identify unsafe conditions, hazards, security breaches, and unauthorized individuals.
  • Inspect facilities, grounds, and security systems, ensuring proper monitoring and maintenance.
  • Oversee fire alarms, intruder alarms, and CCTV operations.
  • Conduct both external and internal security patrols.
  • Maintain accurate logbooks and records, ensuring timely completion of all paperwork.
  • Document and report any faults, health and safety risks, and unsafe practices to management.
  • Exhibit exceptional customer service skills.
  • Present yourself to the highest standards to uphold the image of Securitas and our clients.
  • Identify opportunities for enhancing practices and processes.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by management.

Essential Qualifications:

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • A valid SIA Licence.
  • The right to work in the UK with a five-year checkable employment history or documentation of any unemployment periods.
  • No current criminal convictions.
  • A full UK driving licence and personal transport due to client site locations.
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong focus on customer service.
  • The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Reliability and punctuality.
  • A proactive and enthusiastic attitude.
  • Willingness to work shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.
  • Flexibility to travel between client locations.
