In response to the disruptions caused by Covid-19 on global supply chains, we have focused our efforts on enhancing these systems. Our recent expansion includes a significant facility dedicated to providing procurement and specialized supply chain services to clients in the region. Our offerings are tailored to client needs and encompass a variety of products including fittings, gaskets, flanges, nipples, valves, hoses, sensors, and general supply items. As our operations grow, we are looking to enhance our operational capabilities.

POSITION SUMMARY

We are in search of a proactive Supply Chain and Procurement Manager to lead our procurement and logistics efforts. This role involves managing inventory, ensuring effective logistics coordination, and cultivating strong partnerships with procurement stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in operations, demonstrating exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to achieve results in a dynamic environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Monitor inventory levels and restocking trends for a diverse client base.
  • Establish lead times and implement contingency strategies to guarantee timely restocking and delivery.
  • Engage in hands-on management to streamline logistics for collection and distribution.
  • Source, price, and fulfill procurement requests efficiently.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of Texas materials markets, consistently seeking improvements over standard industry practices.
  • Create pricing sheets and proposals tailored to various customer segments.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with procurement partners, overseeing logistics and new projects.
  • Lead a team to deliver exceptional service to clients while collaborating with corporate management to explore innovative market strategies.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong operational expertise with a focus on high-level problem-solving amidst multiple priorities.
  • Ability to anticipate challenges and proactively address them to meet company timelines and objectives.
  • Experience in procurement for oil and gas-related materials is preferred but not mandatory.
