Your Impact:

The Warehouse Supervisor plays a crucial role in supporting the procurement needs of our maintenance and production teams across multiple site locations. This position is vital for ensuring the accuracy of spare parts and consumable inventory, while overseeing a team of warehouse supply specialists to provide continuous support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise Warehouse Supply Specialists, focusing on daily operations, safety initiatives, and training.
  • Travel between various site locations to fulfill job responsibilities.
  • Issue Purchase Orders to maintain optimal inventory levels, ensuring uninterrupted operations.
  • Manage warranty processes for spare parts and tools, collaborating with vendors for cost efficiency.
  • Conduct periodic cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Utilize Epicor modules to generate insightful reports for management.
  • Create detailed reports in Microsoft Excel to highlight cost savings and reduction strategies.
  • Ensure timely inspection and receipt of deliveries in Epicor.
  • Organize spare parts and consumable inventory for easy access and accurate counts.
  • Establish new parts in Epicor, including images and descriptions with appropriate inventory levels.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities through vendor evaluation and alternative parts.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in warehouses and storage areas.
  • Lead physical inventory audits to ensure accurate on-hand balances.
  • Keep meticulous records of all Purchase Orders, including packing slips and invoices.
  • Conduct monthly audits of open Purchase Orders to verify validity and follow up on delivery timelines.
  • Foster effective working relationships with plant personnel, management, and vendors.
  • Operate a forklift safely as required.
  • Participate in safety meetings and adhere to company policies and regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a problem-solving mindset.
  • High sense of urgency and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow instructions in various formats, exercising independent judgment when necessary.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Physical Demands:

  • Regularly required to use hands for various tasks, including reaching and lifting.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, sit, and climb as needed.
  • Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds frequently and occasionally more than 100 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, and depth perception.
  • Must be able to work in environments without air conditioning or heating.
