Job Summary

Frontier Medicines is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Senior Compound Management Associate. The successful candidate will be responsible for the storage, retrieval, and distribution of compounds for biological assays as well as chemical building blocks for compound synthesis and QC.

Key Responsibilities
  • Compound Management: Manage the receipt and storage of compounds and samples, ensuring accurate inventory and timely delivery to internal scientists.
  • Request Fulfillment: Fulfill weekly and ad hoc compound requests from multiple disciplines, coordinating with cross-functional teams to meet deadlines.
  • Sample Shipping: Coordinate the shipping of samples to external partners, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain an accurate and up-to-date inventory using Titian Mosaic, identifying and addressing any discrepancies or issues.
  • Team Collaboration: Participate in weekly meetings with the Compound Management teams in Boston and South San Francisco, contributing to the development of process improvements and best practices.
Requirements
  • Education: B.S. or M.S. in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biology, or a related discipline.
  • Experience: Four+ (4+) years of applicable experience within the life sciences industry, with a strong background in compound management.
  • Skills: Hands-on experience with compound management, excellent understanding of underlying processes, and experience with automation instrumentation/infrastructure a plus.
  • Personal Qualities: Exquisite attention to detail, effective time-management and communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
