Position Summary:
Our corporate headquarters is actively seeking a Senior Financial Analyst-Operations to enhance our Finance team. The ideal candidate will possess a keen attention to detail and a strong analytical mindset, enabling the execution of strategic procedures in collaboration with key stakeholders across various business units, particularly the Operations team. This role is pivotal in supporting the Operations team and is essential for achieving success in both processes and performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough financial analysis to extract and define pertinent information; interpret data to assess past financial performance and forecast future costs and benefits.
  • Facilitate the strategic business planning process by providing critical analysis on key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Utilize a comprehensive understanding of objectives, issues, and root causes to deliver insightful, data-driven analysis that addresses complex challenges.
  • Support the implementation of a detailed Business Intelligence reporting strategy for the operations and logistics teams, including automation of reporting, dashboard creation, and data validation in collaboration with the IT development team.
  • Collaborate closely with Operations partners to ensure accurate and timely analysis of company initiatives.
  • Lead the forecasting, budgeting, and closing processes, while facilitating periodic reviews.
  • Analyze business activity costs and recommend budget adjustments or cost improvement strategies.
  • Perform scenario, simulation, and sensitivity analyses as necessary.
  • Design, enhance, and maintain intricate models for detailed analyses.
  • Conduct variance analysis, summarizing key drivers, insights, and risks into concise high-level commentary.
  • Assist in constructing business cases to support and inform business decisions.
  • Maintain processes to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
  • Evaluate data, process, and reporting requirements, define specifications, support testing efforts, and execute the implementation of corporate business systems.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of three to five years of relevant analytical experience is required.
Skills and Abilities:
  • Proficient in designing dynamic financial models and conducting scenario analyses.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong communication, customer service, change management, and process improvement skills.
  • Ability to analyze financial and operational data to facilitate decision-making and recommend performance-enhancing actions.
  • Advanced capabilities in Excel, including experience in managing and analyzing large datasets.
  • Familiarity with VBA and SQL is preferred.
  • Experience in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Ability to work independently and synthesize diverse information into meaningful insights.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing requirements and priorities.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
Work Environment:
  • Standard office setting.
  • Occasional travel may be required to visit company facilities.
