Operations Director

At iJility, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Operations to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our facilities, ensuring that our clients receive exceptional service and that our business runs smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage relationships with clients and third-party partners to negotiate contracts and drive business growth.
- Direct supply chain sourcing and inventory management to meet sales expectations.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and innovation teams to develop new products and services.
- Oversee customer service and fulfillment to ensure high levels of satisfaction.
- Liaise with leadership to make strategic decisions and set budgets for operational activities.
- Plan and monitor the day-to-day operation of business to ensure smooth progress and meet objectives.
- Supervise staff from different departments and provide constructive feedback to ensure a positive and confident leadership example.
- Regularly evaluate the efficiency of business procedures and implement improvements to drive profitability.
- Manage procurement processes and coordinate material and resources allocation to ensure cost savings.
- Review financial information and adjust operational budgets to promote profitability.
- Revise and/or formulate policies and promote their implementation to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Evaluate overall department performance by gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data and metrics.
- Ensure that the company remains compliant with legal and established industry regulations.
- Promote a safety-first culture by enforcing safety protocols and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of managers, supervisors, and support staff to ensure adequate staffing, training, and performance.
- Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and safety across all levels of the operation.
P&L Management & Financial Oversight:
- Develop, manage, and report on the facility's annual budget to ensure financial targets are met or exceeded.
- Control costs related to labor, equipment, supplies, and facilities while ensuring service levels are met.
- Track, analyze, and report on key financial metrics, including cost per unit processed, operational costs, and profitability.
Requirements:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate them when appropriate.

- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of diverse business functions and principles.
- Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics.
