Position Overview

The Senior Financial Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting strategic business decisions by conducting thorough financial evaluations and forecasting models that align operational activities with financial objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather and analyze financial data from various sources, including sales, production, and accounting.
  • Interpret historical and current financial information to provide insights for decision-making.
  • Assist in the development and monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs) across different business units.
  • Apply finance and accounting principles to assess current financial operations and project future revenues and costs.
  • Prepare detailed reports, analyses, and recommendations for budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
  • Establish and maintain strong partnerships with management across all functional areas.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data used for decision-making.
  • Support monthly financial review meetings with various divisions.
  • Provide assistance to other departments in establishing their financial reporting structures.
  • Perform general accounting tasks and prepare financial statements as needed.
  • Compile information for board meeting presentations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting with a minimum of three years of relevant experience.
  • Proficient in automated accounting systems and software.
  • Strong computer skills, particularly in Excel and analytical modeling.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Self-motivated and capable of managing multiple tasks independently.
  • Strong team player with the ability to collaborate on various projects.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with a focus on data interpretation.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for business purposes.

Physical Requirements

This position requires the ability to sit for extended periods, operate a computer, and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
