About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ERP Manager to lead our global Finance functional analyst teams across all ERPs (SAP, Infor M3 & Oracle) in collaboration with nVent business segments and Finance & Accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a Multi-Year ERP Strategy: Collaborate with enterprise and segment finance stakeholders to create a comprehensive ERP strategy, aligned with business goals and budget.
  • Change Management: Ensure seamless integration of change management into ERP rollout strategy, including stakeholder engagement, communication, and training.
  • Talent Management: Lead and grow functional analyst talent, ensuring the team is adequately sized and equipped with up-to-date skills and knowledge to operate platforms.
  • Platform Architecture: Own the platform architecture, including integrated ecosystem, and develop a best-in-class approach towards ERP deployment and cutovers using Agile methodologies.
  • Innovation and Transformation: Develop a shared understanding of financial capabilities on ERP platforms and leverage them to solve business problems and transform nVent's financial operations.
  • Platform Operations: Define platform SLAs, identify and prioritize technical launches/patches to ensure stability and resiliency, and minimize technical debt.
Requirements
  • Academic Background: Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems or Finance, with an MBA preferred.
  • Experience:
  • 10+ years of experience with ERP delivery and support in Manufacturing (preferably SAP, Infor, Oracle).
  • Experience with Big-4 Consulting and/or multinational corporations preferred.
  • Successful leadership of at least two large, complex, full-lifecycle ERP implementations for Finance functions.
  • At least five years of leadership responsibility managing midsize to large teams (5+ people) and influencing senior-level management and key stakeholders.
  • Hands-on experience with General Ledger, AR, AP, Asset Accounting, Sales/Use/Withholding/VAT Taxes, Product Cost Controlling, Material Ledger, Profit Center Accounting, Profitability Analysis, Project Revenue recognition.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end operational process flows (i.e., order to cash, procure to pay, record to report).
  • Experience with regulatory and compliance requirements, such as SAF-T reporting and e-Invoicing integrations.
  • Experienced at managing external consultants and system integrators.

  • Ability to communicate technical and non-technical matters clearly and simply.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead and influence cross-functional and multinational teams.
  • Good grasp of Agile delivery.
Travel Requirements
  • Ability to travel internationally 1x a quarter.
